I made a pot of Controlled Burn elk chili for the group potluck dinner at our annual Aspen Project in Eastern Oregon. Oregon Hunters Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, US Forest Service, Warm Springs Tribe members all enjoyed it very much. Some were afraid that something named "Controlled Burn" would be too hot, but it's just delicously spicy.
