What is WildEats Enterprises® ?

Founded by Chef John McGannon in 1996, WILDEATS Enterprises® is the accumulation of over 35 years experience in some of our nation's finest dining establishments and a lifetime of preparing nature's bounty at the highest level. Chef McGannon is widely recognized as one of the leading authorities on fine wild game cuisine and has opened 13 restaurants in New York, Florida, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and San Francisco. His list of personal clients is the who’s who of the United States and his culinary background is traveled and praised. However, the roots of WildEats started many years before. Chef McGannon worked his way through the Culinary Institute of America and in some of New York's finest restaurant, like Le Perigord on Manhattan's East side just up the street from the United Nations Buildings, down in Los Angeles at Le St. Germain and Angel City Grill and in the Bay Area at the historic DOROS. It was here that the passion and attention to detail was developed for WildEats.

It has always been the goal of John McGannon to share his insight to haute cuisine Our Rubs are designed to bring out the best of whatever they are put on. Fine Cuisine is all about balance and so are our Blends. All of our blends are low in sodium (we only use organic sea salt) and 100% Natural. We have searched the world over for the most flavorful spices: South and Central America for our chilies, Italy for our Juniper berries, North Africa for our peppercorns and Caribbean for many of our dried herbs. Each of our custom blends have been carefully developed to enhance, not overshadow meat, fish or vegetables. 

Chef John McGannon has provided his culinary talents, direction and products to a wide variety of restaurants {here and abroad}, Developed & Manufacture products for International Corporations, supplies Wild Life Conservation Organizations with fund raising products, Seminar Speaker at national conventions -peaching to people everywhere how to properly handle and prepare their wild game harvests, wrote and hosted his TV series on the Outdoor Life Network, {Outdoor Cuisine}, published his first book - Outdoor Cuisine, Behind the Scene (soon to be available in electronic downloadable form), is the current Culinary contributing writer to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's BUGLE Magazine – CARNIVORE'S KITCHEN….Eating Wildthe Mule Deer FoundationsCuisine Elevation andOutdoor News Publications throughout the mid west and east coast.
